Configure an organization

An organization has a home page, which lists the sites it has published, and a default look for its sites.

Before you begin

You must be an owner or admin of the organization.

Set the organization home page

  1. Select Configuration in the top navigation.
  2. In the list on the left, select your organization.
  3. Open the Organization homepage tab.
  4. Enter a Landing-page title. It can be up to 120 characters.
  5. Enter a Description of at least 50 words. Describe your organization and what readers can find in your documentation. The counter shows how many words you have.
  6. To add a logo, choose a Logo file. It must be PNG, JPEG or WebP, and no larger than 1 MB.
  7. Select Save tenant homepage.

To remove a logo, select Remove current logo and save.

Published knowledge bases appear on the home page as cards, automatically.

Set the default look of your sites

Do this after you have saved the organization home page. The look cannot be saved until the title and description are set.

  1. Open the Site appearance tab.
  2. Choose a Default site theme.
  3. Choose a Default site font.
  4. To see the result in light or dark colors, change Preview color mode. This changes only the preview.
  5. Select Save appearance.

Knowledge bases use this theme and font unless they choose their own. See Configure a knowledge base.
