Accept quality check recommended changes

Some style findings include a recommended change, such as a replacement word. You can accept it with one click.

Before you begin

Review the article so that the Style review tab lists findings.

Steps

  1. Open the Style review tab.
  2. Find a finding that has an OK button. Findings without one have no recommended change.
  3. Point to OK to see what it will do. The tip reads Apply: followed by the replacement text, or Apply: remove matched text.
  4. Select OK.

The article text changes at once, and the finding shows Applied.

  1. Read the message and the highlighted text.
  2. If there is a Read guidance link, select it to see the rule.
  3. Edit the article yourself.

Finish

  1. Run the review again to confirm the findings are gone. See Review an article.
  2. Save your work. Accepting a change does not save the article. See Save a draft or Save an article for publishing.
